All classes at CCCS utilize a uniform dress code several reasons. First, we spend much of our adult lives wearing a uniform of some type - to identify us with our place of work and to set us apart for the work of the day. We see value in our students preparing for the day, even down to their clothing. Second, we are here to learn, not to worry about clothing. Our desire is to remove as much clothing distraction as possible for students in the classroom. Third, they can make school mornings easier. Many parents have seen the benefit of fewer choices in the morning, allowing a more pleasant and stress-free morning.

Please note: Uniform polo shirts never have a brand logo. All clothing items should be purchased from the uniform section of whichever store you choose to shop. However, not all items in any given uniform section fall within our guidelines.

Uniform Options for K4-12th:

  • Navy blue or khaki uniform pants or shorts. Girls may also wear jumpers or skirts that fall just above or at the knee. Girls may also wear plaid (navy blue/evergreen) skirts and jumpers. Leggings or jeggings are only to be worn under skirts. They should be black, grey, navy blue, or white.

  • Jegging style uniform pants are not permitted. Leggings are also not considered pants.

  • Jogger style uniform pants (the kind with an elastic cuff) and cargo shorts are not permitted. Pants should come to the top of the shoe.

  • Short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirts in either white, navy blue, light blue, or forest/hunter green.

  • Uniform options can be found at Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Children’s Place, Lands' End, Kohl’s, etc. Please select from the school uniform section only. Please note, not everything labeled “uniform” is acceptable to our dress code.

  • Students need to have closed toed shoes or sneakers to make recess play more comfortable. Crocs and Sandals are not allowed.

  • Sweatshirts may be worn in the classroom, but only those purchased from CCCS. If you do not have one from previous years, new orders will be taken in the coming weeks. Sweaters may be worn in class if purchased from the uniform section of stores such as Target, Walmart, Children’s Place, Old Navy, and Lands’ End.

  • Blue jeans or jean shorts may be worn on Fridays with spirit wear (CCCS soccer jersey or spirit shirt). Jeans should be in good condition with no rips or tears and abide by all other uniform rules.
