School Director - Christie Davidson

Christie holds a Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education. She has a passion for Christian Education and desires to see it made affordable and available to all families. Having struggled through elementary school herself with undiagnosed dyslexia, she is passionate about seeing all students made in the image of God have access to Classical Christian Education. She is a mom of four and a wife to Ryan, the Pastor of Grace Baptist Chapel, a Reformed Baptist Church, where they have served for almost 17 years. She serves as the School Director overseeing the day to day operations of CCCS. If she’s not in the school office, you can find her teaching in the Upper School: Informal Logic, Debate, and History of Philosophy! Outside of school, she loves to bake and to share her treats with everyone!

Director of Instruction - Lauren Mingee

Lauren has a B.S. in Business Administration from Christoper Newport University. She taught a variety of grades from K4-1st over the last 10 years. Lauren and her husband, Jeff, met while coaching swim team and have been blissfully married for 19 years. They have two sons, the eldest is entering his first year at West Point and the youngest is at CCCS. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and talking long walks on local trails. As the only female in her house, she has a passion for the education of little boys and their boundless energy. Lauren and her family worship and serve at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown.

Director’s Assistant - Katie Carroll

Katie has a B.A. in English from Christopher Newport University. Before coming to CCCS she worked at Liberty Live Church for thirteen years as an administrative assistant. When she became a stay-at-home mom she vowed to never work outside the home again, but the Lord opened up this opportunity to use her gifts and she loves it. She and Malvin have been married for over 18 years and share a 12-year-old son who attends CCCS. They love traveling (particularly to Disney World and the OBX), trying new restaurants, and playing games. Katie is a staunch supporter of the Sunday afternoon nap. Her family worships and serves at Liberty Live Church.
