Board Of Directors


Carrie Crocker (Board Chair)
is a wife and mother of one son, Joel who attends CCCS. She is an active and serving member of Nansemond River Baptist Church in Northern Suffolk. Carrie has participated in Bible Study Fellowship and other women’s bible studies for many years.  Carrie was born and raised in Hampton VA and has an AAS in Accounting. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking with her family, and going to concerts and sporting events. 

Malvin Carroll (Treasurer) is a management consultant with over 20 years of program and business management experience. He assists management of the organization’s leadership make decisions and transform operations through development of budgets, program financial management and reporting, application of decision analytics, and process re-engineering. He holds a Master of Business Administration, Master’s Certificate in Decision Analytics, and a Bachelor’s of Science with concentrations in Account and Management. His focus is providing oversight of the financial operations of the school. Malvin is an avid griller and loves to spend weekend afternoons smoking meat. He, his lovely wife, and son are active, serving members of Liberty Baptist Church.

Audrey Hammond is a wife and mother of 4 children, and is a member of Poquoson Baptist Church. She has worked in Christian Higher Education at Liberty University for 15 years, specializing in International Education for the past 10 years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from LU, and is working to acquire an M.Ed. in History. She is a Certified Travel Agent (CTA), and a Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE), and serves in the Virginia International Educators Association. She is passionate about creating Christ-centered opportunities for students to learn to share and live out their faith in an international context. In her free time she enjoys reading, boating with her family, playing tennis, and spending time with her church family. 

Taylor Ethridge has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 2008. He works with clients to provide strategic planning as they pursue their personal financial goals and mitigate the associated risks. As a small business owner, he understands the needs and challenges of local business owners and partners with them to review their commercial risk and provide financial resources. Taylor graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Finance from Liberty University, where he met his wife Meagan. They have two children, Colton and Kate. As members of Liberty Baptist Church, they serve on the Safety Team and in children’s ministry. In their free time, they love being outdoors as a family and watching football games.

Michael Machie is a civil engineer with 15 years of design and management experience working with consulting engineering firms. He and his wife Erin have four daughters and are members of Liberty Baptist Church where they serve in children's ministry and lead a small group for married couples. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. In his spare time he loves spending time with his family, golfing, playing soccer, and running.

CCCS Staff

Christie Davidson (School Director) holds a Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education. She has a passion for Christian Education and desires to see it made affordable and available to all families. Having struggled through elementary school herself with undiagnosed dyslexia, she is passionate about seeing all students made in the image of God have access to Classical Christian Education. She is a mom of four and a wife to Ryan, the Pastor of Grace Baptist Chapel, a Reformed Baptist Church, where they have served for the past 12 years. She serves as the School Director overseeing the day to day operations of CCCS. She loves to bake and to share her treats with everyone!

Katie Carroll (School Director’s Assistant) has a B.A. in English from Christopher Newport University and has used it mostly to show off her wide-range of knowledge of adjectives and edit everything from business letters to websites to devotional materials. Before coming to CCCS she worked at Liberty Baptist Church for thirteen years as an administrative assistant. When she became a stay-at-home mom she vowed to never work outside the home again, but the Lord opened up this opportunity to use her gifts and she loves it. When she’s not working, she loves to spend time with husband and 10 year old son.
