Distinctives of Covenant Classical Community School

Biblical Integration

“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof…” Psalm 24:1a

We believe that all knowledge has its root in its creator, and no knowledge can be truly obtained when it is divorced from that creator. Therefore, at Covenant Classical Community School, all subjects are taught with that fundamental reality. Math makes sense, because God is a God of order. Science is the further exploration of God’s creation which leaves a student to marvel at their creator. English Language Arts equips us with the skills necessary to read God’s word and to rightly articulate our thoughts and ideas to others. History is the study of the sovereign hand of God and His providence throughout time. All subjects find their roots in God, and therefore are interconnected to one another.

Community Based

At Covenant Classical Community School, we value the influence that our community has on our students. From teachers to parents, we see the need for a strong community to spur one another on as we work to equip the next generation of parents, professionals, church members, and friends.

Classical Approach

Classical Christian education has been the instructional methodology used to educate the leadership of the Western world for centuries. This proven and time tested method structures a child’s education in a way that engages, instructs, and refines his or her naturally developing strengths and abilities at each age, and emphasizes — leadership cultivation — character development — critical thinking — communications skills — higher levels of personal, academic, and spiritual maturity.

Making Christian Education More Affordable

We value more families having access to quality, Classical, Christian education. Because we are a private institute we do not receive any government funds, so we are completely tuition based. Even with this reality, our goal is to keep the cost low, so that no family would be excluded from our school. We are all accustomed to the idea of paying for our childrens college education, but it is so very worth investing in the foundation of their education as well-, the elementary, middle and high school years. A list of tuition and fees can be found here.

There is not one square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!”
-Abraham Kuyper
